TD VOTED TOP 10 BEST SUPPLIER TO WORK WITH

We had a great night at the Construction Enquirer Awards as part of UK Construction Week. We were originally happy just to be nominated but then after a public vote amongst construction professionals we were selected as finalists and came to the awards ceremony with a chance to win. Whilst we did not win our category – Best Supplier to Work With (Under £25m) we were extremely pleased to have been awarded a position in the ‘TOP 10’ and would like to thank all our clients within the Construction and Civil Engineering Industries. Darren Ames (Director) said “It is a very proud moment having the work we do acknowledged. We do actively cooperate with our customers in all stages of a project and whilst we do get feedback crediting our technical support, flexibility and expediting of results, it is great to be recognised on a national level”.

UKAS REASSESSMENT COMPLETE

It has been an extremely busy week with UKAS, the UK’s National Accreditation Body sending a team of auditors across four days to conduct our first full reassessment of our entire suite of accredited tests. The visit was successful due to the hard work of all involved which is why we would like to credit our amazing staff for their dedication throughout!

TD TO KEEP ROOTS IN ST. HELENS

Today marks the start of a new chapter for us. Once a new name in the geotechnical/materials testing industry we have had 3 consecutive years of growth. In the last year we have experienced a substantial increase in clients, contract wins and workload which highlighted the need to move to a larger premises. As part of a strategic review it was the decision of the directors for TD to purchase Gerard Hall, once a Community Hall, Nightclub and Gym situated on Lord Street in St. Helens. The 20,000 sq ft site will start a new life as a Materials Testing Laboratory, representing a huge upgrade in space and we are excited to see how the building develops over the coming years. – SIC PARVIS MAGNA
